I was in Hazel Daze this past month, a lovely place on the Post Road in Fairfield where the owner accepts and offers my jars for sale in her shop. I was telling her that I was reworking some things about the jars, and one of those things was that I was inspired to take each one as it was completed and sit with it in meditation for at least five minutes. I would have intuitively chosen the stone or crystal for the jar and then blessed it with reiki energy. I would then make a note of the meditation session and also note down the specific properties that the stone resonates with traditionally.
Today this Moon Jar, "Purple Peace Owl", was brought home by its new owner. The art used to create this jar was hand drawn and painted last month specifically to meet the request for a purple owl jar. I was drawn to adding a special piece of amethyst to this one from my personal collection and it makes me really happy to be able to create these works of art and craft.
These things that I create are made with an energy that I hope will be contagious for those who own them. They are each something that I have held in my hands for many moments, that I have added to with conscious thoughts of clarity and sincere wishes for the owner to even just look at it and feel the gratitude that was infused into the project, thus making it contagious and perhaps inspiring the owner to yes, write down what they are grateful for.
So with that in mind, I am going to create a little slideshow here to inspire owners new and old, and future owners - or people who are just wanting to align with the feeling of gratitude because, on a day like today when such a tragic spot in the world (Orlando, Florida) has opened up a floodgate of sorrow, we are fortunate to continue to count our blessings and be grateful.
I wrote a blog earlier today when I was thinking about some things happening that seem to be tests from the Universe directly challenging me these past few months. I have let a couple of hours go by, and sat down here to think about what I would like to share with the little part of the world, my little tribe of lovely people who will actually take the time to read this and I said, I am going to be me. I am learning a lot from other people, and I have learned that I need to keep my authenticity alive and well.
So, as my blood pressure went back to normal - because I have a short fuse and seem to be more magnetic these days, I cut down the thoughts that were making me really upset. I replaced them with the reminders that I have been telling myself that I would love to see done on behalf of my beloved Moon Jars. I am watching an ant walk across my desk right now, and am reminded of their symbolic meaning:

Tonight I wanted to finally share with you the completed Moon Jar "Believe Butterfly Fairy" and let you know that she is ready to meet her new owner. I am also including in this post a download that I hand penned for the basic Moon Phases Chart that I created for working with the Moon as a beginners guide to having clues to what happens from one phase to the next.
